Getting Ripped has everything to do with the Foods you eat

You are what you eat has never made more sense then it will after you read this article. The thickness of your skin will be govern by what kinds of foods you consume. This article will list the foods that you should stay away from and which foods you should consume to achieved your ripped appearance.


The right types of foods will be the key to your success in getting ripped. You should eat foods that are high in protein but at the same time, you should try to lower your calorie intake. To lose the fat, you need to reduce the calorie intake. But, it is important to keep the protein count up so you don’t lose any of the muscle that you already have. Doing this isn’t that hard, it will take will power and dedication but, the results will be worth it. Basically, to get ripped, you will need to lose the fat and the types of foods you eat will ultimately govern the thickness of your skin.

Foods that you should stay away from include:

Candy- High in sugar and has no nutritional value what so ever.

Soda- A drink that is high in sugar and calories. Substitute all soda and replace it with water.

White Flour- This food helps to store fat cells in the body and has little nutritional value. Because it causes a weight gain in the body, you are more likely to have a heart disease after long term consumption.

White Sugar- Sugar is in all types of foods. In the last 20 years, the yearly intake of sugar has risen from 26 pounds to 135 pounds. This is because sugar is found in almost all your foods you eat now. Trying to lower your sugar will help you lose weight and help prevent against cancer and cardiovascular disease.

Fast Foods- Yes, it is convenient and taste good but, your health is at stake. You will never loss the weight if you consume fast food everyday. These types of greasy foods are loaded with calories and unhealthy fats.

Pastries- Loaded with sugar and has no nutritional value. All pastries should be avoided when trying to get ripped.

These foods just add more of a struggle for you to get ripped. They are high in calories & fat and have little to no nutritional value. Cutting down on foods that cause these problems will help you reach your goals fast. These foods do taste good and you may be tempted to go back to your old ways but, think of the advantages of eating healthy. You will feel better and live longer. The good news is, a lot of the healthy foods also taste great. Getting ripped has a lot to do with will power more so then anything else.

The foods you should eat are high in protein and make sure you eat 5 to 6 times a day. This will spread out the calories so that you have enough energy throughout the day and you will burn more calories quicker. Some foods that will help you reach your goals are:

  • Any Type of Fruit
  • Any Type of Vegetables
  • Protein Powder
  • Turkey
  • Fish
  • Chicken
  • Eggs
  • Low Fat Milk
  • Yogurt
  • Beans
  • Water

Some of the secrets for getting ripped are, eat a big breakfast. This will give you plenty of energy throughout the day. Eat plenty of carbohydrates at lunch. Then eat a lot of protein for dinner. Whenever you get hungry between those meals make sure you eat a small snack, such as an orange or grapes. Drink plenty of water too. Doing above with correlation of your exercises will get you ripped in no time.
