Best Time To Workout, Morning or Night?

Bodybuilding & Fitness

I would like to share the My Best Time To Workout. For me, I get the best results from my workouts in the following times.

In the morning, I perform all my cardiovascular exercise (high intensity interval training) on an empty stomach. That is the best time to workout to burn fat. This is because, after just waken up, my body is completely drained of all calories that I’ve taken from the day before. And, when I do my cardiovascular exercise in the morning, I’m tapping into my reserved energy, which is my fat. My workout may not be as intense as it would have been with a good meal before hand, but I’ll get more of a fat burning effect by doing my cardiovascular exercise in the morning on an empty stomach.

As for the night workouts, the best results for me comes when I do my weight lifting training. Toward the evening, I feel like I have my highest energy level. This helps me with my heavy lifting and also drains my energy before I go to sleep. Also, weight training at night is best because I get to rest my muscles when I’m sleeping. Recovery is so important to the growth of muscles and when weight training in the morning, I will not get the same level of rest as if I weight trained at night.

To summarize, I like to do my cardiovascular exercise in the morning on an empty stomach to fully maximize my fat burning capabilities and perform my weight training at night so I can take full advantage of the recovery process of my fatigued muscles to gain maximum growth.

Not everybody is going to react the same to this workout. Some people might have more energy in the morning and would like to do their weight lifting then. You will have to find what times will work best for you. This is just what I feel is the best time to workout for me. It is okay to workout in the morning or at night, doing either weight training or cardiovascular exercise. Doing something is better then doing nothing at all.

The unseen threat in all of this is that as people struggle to reduce weight levels the resultant effect of all of this then emerges as levels of fitness tightens up with little available exercise being taken and more disease becoming prevalent…If Central Governments don’t take a grip soon then we could be facing an over weight problem.
